Throughout her life, Jenna Ruocchio has worked in many different positions: social neuroscientist, human behavioral data scientist, mother of two-under-two, and most recently executive director of Highmatter Books. In this newest role, she coordinates various aspects of the "business side" of Ruocchio Ventures and Highmatter Books. She actively engages with Christopher Ruocchio's fans on various different social media platforms, and greatly enjoys this part of her "job." Jenna's relevant skillset includes graphic design, marketing, statistical analysis, event planning, people management, and most importantly talking Christopher off the ledge.
Jenna also serves as a primary point-of-contact for merchandising efforts, customer concerns, human resource management, and more. Email her (and the rest of the team) here with any concerns or questions; she'd be happy to hear from you!

Jason Cordova brings years of experience in the publishing industry, most recently as an associate editor with Baen Books. His wit and truly alarming efficiency make him an excellent fit for Highmatter Books, and we proudly welcomed him as our first employee in Summer 2025. He works closely with all aspects of Highmatter, with a special focus on author appearances, special edition publishing, and remembering deadlines that Jenna forgets.
An accomplished author in his own right, Jason is both a John W. Campbell Award and Dragon Award finalist. He edited his first anthology, Chicks in Tank Tops, coauthored Monster Hunter Memoirs: Fever with Larry Correia, and wrote Mountain of Fire in the Black Tide Rising universe, all with Baen Books. He has 28 novels currently in print and has been featured in numerous anthologies. A Navy veteran, he is also a former middle school teacher. Though Californian by birth, he has since relocated to the South, where he swears at the humidity on a thrice-daily basis.
