This form allows you to enter details that will be displayed on your event badge at the Shadows Upon Time gala.

If you’re seeing this FAQ section, your browser has already started executing the website script to run the profile registration form. You may need to wait a moment (you may or may not see a spinning “loading” circle above). In some cases, the form takes too long to load, and the connection to the form software fails. In this case, you may need to refresh the page, and possibly clear out your browser cache.
Alternatively, you can click on the following link to open the profile form itself in a new tab. Keep in mind that this link is unique to you and bypasses the need to login to edit your gala profile; therefore, you should only share it with people you trust to edit your gala profile. ERROR: Link could not be generated.

One common error in the profile registration form is: “Could not find any gala tickets purchased by this Squarespace profile.” This means there are no gala ticket purchases associated with the email address you’ve used to login to our site.
If you haven’t bought your gala tickets, then this isn’t an error at all! Come back to this page after you’ve bought some.
Otherwise, double-check the email address you’re using to login to the site and compare it to the email address you used to originally buy your gala tickets. If they’re different, create a website account using the correct email address (the one used to purchase the tickets) and try this form again.

Yes, we need your legal first and last name to keep track of who exactly is attending the event. This is especially important if you’ve purchased Bar Access (via a separate pass or by purchasing a VIP ticket). If you purchased Bar Access, you must present a valid government ID that matches the name entered in your profile here, and the ID must clearly state you are 21 years of age or older (i.e., of legal age to drink alcohol). If you do not present ID, your Bar Access will be revoked without refund.
If you don’t want other gala-goers to know your legal name, that’s fine. The legal name you provide is only for our records: only the name you list as your “Display Name” will be shown on your badge itself. If you leave the “Display Name” blank, or you enter phrasing that is egregiously offensive or unintelligible, we will use your first name and last initial instead. (For example, the default value for John Doe would be “John D.”)

This is an entirely optional opportunity for you to list your social media identifiers directly on your badge. Since Sun Eater has such a robust online community, some fans had requested we add this functionality.

There’s a few reasons this could be happening:
You didn’t actually enter your data correctly. Oops! Go back through the profile entry process and double-check your data, then see if the error message goes away.
Your recent purchases have not yet synced with our systems. If you recently bought additional gala tickets, it may take some time for your ticket quantities to be updated into the profile management system. Wait 15 minutes or so and try again.
Your browser is interfering with the form’s JavaScript. This is very unlikely, as you need to have JavaScript working to see this FAQ, but still possible. Try a different browser.
There’s a glitch in the on-page data validation. The data validation shown to you on this page is totally separate from the “real” validation logic that takes place after you submit... so receiving an error at the end of the form prior to submission doesn’t necessarily mean your data is incorrect. If you are confident the error presented is just a glitch, go ahead and submit.
In any case, as long as you are able to click “Submit and Save Changes” and then see the “Success” screen, your data has been received and will be added to your profile after our back-end systems validate it.

There are three types of change requests:
Downgrade Request (VIP Only): Request that your VIP Access ticket be downgraded to a General Admission ticket. You’ll be sent an email to verify that you meant to downgrade, then after you confirm, your ticket type will be adjusted. If you want to fully cancel, you can wait for the system to sync and then submit a Cancelation Request.
Cancelation Request: Per the information listed on the main Gala info page, we aren’t able to automatically grant cancelations. You may instead request a ticket cancelation. If the event sells out or we are otherwise able to grant ticket cancelations, we will grant them in the order they are received, one user account at a time. If you have multiple tickets associated with your account, you can choose which you want canceled first (Position 1), second (Position 2), etc. as cancelation requests are granted.
VIP Upgrade Request: We do not anticipate being able to list any other VIP Access tickets for sale. However, if any existing VIP Access ticket holders choose to Downgrade their ticket, those passes will be listed for sale. Upgrade requests will be granted to profiles queued for VIP Upgrade using this form; Upgrades will be granted in the order they are received, as VIP Access tickets are released / become available.

The window for guaranteed processing of your event registration profile has already closed. Therefore, we can no longer guarantee that your desired T-shirt size will be available on-site, or that your badge will display your desired name.
As an absolute worst case scenario, we will have a label-maker on site to manually replace any information that needs to be edited at the event. In the unlikely event we cannot accommodate your request for a size change for your event T-shirt, we would simply mail you the T-shirt when another shipment comes in, or offer you a partial refund.
