CHRISTOPHER RUOCCHIO COMES TO TEXAS NEXT WEEK!

Sun Eater author Christopher Ruocchio will be in Texas September 2 through September 8, with stops in the Dallas area, Houston, and Austin! And what's more, he'll be joined by Ryan Cahill of THE BOUND AND THE BROKEN for the two Dallas events (really, he's joining Ryan). Here's the full list as it presently stands, but we're hoping to add at least one more stop to the Austin leg of the trip:

I don't talk about it very much, but I have a Patreon page, and I decided to overhaul it and put it to good use! The Patreon is now a machine that creates Sun Eater artwork, and you can be a part of the process, with quarterly Sun Eater trading card drops. Every 3 months, we're producing new trading cards for the series, with original art on one side and QR codes to hidden lore entries on the back. There's no game attached, they're more like baseball cards than Magic: the Gathering. The first batch of cards will all feature art by Diamond Edition artist James L. Cook, though expect future cards to feature other series artists as well! Future cards will also not just be limited to characters, although we'll start with characters for now!
Patrons that sign up can receive either 1, 2, or 3 random cards a quarter. (There are only 3 cards to start, so choosing the top tier guarantees you get one of each to start--a Hadrian, a Valka, and one surprise character). Cards are mailed out quarterly, and only people subscribed on the day we do the mailing will receive cards.
But there's more! Patrons will also get to vote on which characters will receive cards in the next batch, with themed polls every quarter. The first poll has yet to launch, but Patrons will have the chance to select a character from DISQUIET GODS to help celebrate the release of the paperback at the end of this year.
