Cover art, color inserts, and both endpaper illustrations are by artist James L. Cook. The 11 black-and-white illustrations are printed in-line and are distributed throughout the book. All black-and-white illustrations in this novel are by artist John Barry Ballaran.

The boards are imitation leather, with a slight glossy finish and stamped with a red foil design by artist John Barry Ballaran.

The page edges have been sprayed a deep crimson to match the first book in the series.

A slipcase is available as an add-on to your purchase. Slipcases were made an optional add-on as part of the Kickstarter campaign for Empire of Silence, and we have elected to honor the optional nature of the slipcase for the remainder of the series. The slipcase is the same black imitation leather as the cover boards, and employs the same red foil in the stamped design, which features a round cut-out. The slipcase design is by John Barry Ballaran.
