Introducing THE MURDERED SUN

Back in January of 2016, ten thousand years ago, I sold a book to DAW Books, the book that would launch my career as a published writer. That book was not EMPIRE OF SILENCE, though it would become EMPIRE OF SILENCE in time.
That book was THE MURDERED SUN. A much shorter, much more straightforward story. The story of a different Hadrian Marlowe. One who was never a gladiator. One who would never become the Halfmortal. One who never met Valka Onderra.
That book was torn apart on the editing floor, put back together, and doubled in size to become EMPIRE OF SILENCE. But my friends at Anderida Books thought it might be interesting to put the book out in limited release, for the true Sun Eater aficionados out there: a piece of the series' history. The original story, with all its faults and hiccups.
This run is limited to just 1000 copies (plus 78 lettered copies). Previous Anderida Books customers have dibs for the first month on the first 850 copies, with just 150 available for general sale. (Other copies should become available later).
Perhaps most importantly, purchasing THE MURDERED SUN will guarantee you dibs on the upcoming release of the Anderida edition of EMPIRE OF SILENCE, which features extensive artwork from Kieran Yanner, the revised text from the Diamond Edition, and exclusive bonus materials!
