Purchase this “item” to register yourself for the waitlsit to auto-upgrade to a VIP ticket, if one becomes available due to cancelation. This add-on is only valid for use on a General Admission ticket.
Why do you need to take a payment now, before a VIP ticket is even available? We don’t know whether anyone will cancel their VIP tickets, or whether something will change with the venue to make a few more VIP tickets reasonable to add. If something does change, however, we expect the VIP upgrades to move extremely quickly due to the demand we’ve already seen — so we want to be able to auto-upgrade you now using the payment you rendered before the ticket became available, rather than manage a limbo period while we wait for your payment after the ticket becomes available.
Why the extra $7? This reflects the non-refundable processing fee we are charged for accepting your payment.
What happens if I don’t get off the waitlist? After the guest list is finalized (approximately 2-3 weeks before the event), we will close the waitlist. When we do, we will refund everyone $150 per purchased waitlist pass (total upgrade cost, minus the processing fee).
